A young man finds the manosphere. It’s what he has been searching for and he feels compelled to read and understand as much as he can. Like most men who are ready for it, when he first discovers this obscure corner of the internet, he literally cannot get enough. He devours various forums, blogs, and e-books.
The truth is addictive, but it also angers him. His eyes open after he takes the red pill. It swiftly shatters his illusions. He realizes he has been living in a feminist wasteland. It is painful for him to realize he was stupid enough to fall for all the pretty little lies.
He based many of his life choices on those lies, which he finds disheartening. At the same time, it makes him feel free. The manosphere gives him practical knowledge of women and their true nature. He puts the pieces together and sees how he can use what he has learned to his advantage.
He makes the transition and actually begins to apply his knowledge and practice his game. He approaches women and goes on many dates. He learns proper harem management. His game gets better with each success and failure. He fucks up and loses countless women. But he also learns lessons and gets laid many times.
Despite spending more time practicing, he never stops reading the manosphere. Most of his family and friends do not understand. The process of seduction can wear a man down. So he uses the community to support himself whenever he feels mentally tired from the game. But after a while, bitterness creeps into his mind. Reading too much about slut shaming, sexual market value, fat women, and the decline of Western culture affects him. He begins to feel hostile and cynical towards women. It makes his game weaker.
So he stops reading for a while. He focuses on practicing his game. He starts a business and maybe a game blog. He works to free himself from the cubicle. He still loves the manosphere, grateful for the knowledge it provided him. After a while, he returns. He still visits on occasion. But he finds that minimal exposure is the best approach. Small doses keep his game sharp, while too much can disrupt his game. He is much more selective about what he consumes; now preferring quality to quantity.
He is thankful to have discovered the manosphere and all its wisdom. He is a better man for understanding the truth it reveals. It was the spoonful of sugar that eased the bitter taste of the red pill. He has digested the pill and now too much exposure is counterproductive. He does not need the manosphere as much as he did. He carries it inside his mind. It has become part of who he is. It manifests in his actions every day. He no longer feels poisoned by it, but permanently liberated.
