It’s well known that sociopathic tendencies can help men succeed with women. But some men live with excess emotions, not lack of them. This ranges from depression, to bipolar disorder, to just being a moody bastard. Sound like you? You’ve likely found that emotional outbursts can hurt your relationships with women. Showing her your feelings, excessively, is almost always a mistake.
It can seem satisfying to emote all over her, at first. And, she may even pretend to like it. But most women are not well-equipped to deal with dramatic male bullshit. It’s mentally exhausting for them. Females can barely control their own roller coaster emotions. Adding your craziness is too much. You can’t put her through those highs and lows. If you do, she’ll start to resent you. Then, she’ll look at you with contempt. Finally, she’ll leave you.
You won’t build a real long-term relationship with two roller coasters. But you can successfully pair a roller coaster with a rock. As a man, it’s your responsibility to build and maintain that solid foundation. Be the rock. This is true for plain-vanilla monogamous relationships. But, emotional strength is even more important if you practice polyamory or date volatile younger women.
