(Check Out Part II – How To Plan The Perfect Magic Mushroom Trip)
I was running alone through the woods in the dark.
Stripped to the waist. Tears streaming down my face. Laughing hysterically.
Half out of my mind.
My manic sprint slowed as I entered a grove.
Suddenly surrounded by a horde of looming pale poplar trees. They glowed like tall skinny ghost-giants in the bright white moonlight.
I froze. Embracing the silence. Caught my breath. Listening, hard.
Eyes wide like saucers.
My mind cleared.
Gentle wind caressing me.
All six senses firing now. Taking in every detail.
And then I noticed it…
The poplar trees were pulsing with life! They knew I was there. And they recognized me. Dancing and swaying, leaning in closer, their limbs beckoning me.
They were whispering to me…
I was utterly mesmerized.
And so I don’t know how long I stayed like that.
Male laughter, way off in the distance, eventually ended my meditation.
These new voices were no hallucination, though. It was eight of my friends. Frolicking around a campfire, just back over the hill. Drinking Natural Ice, smoking weed, and giggling like schoolgirls. All of them tripping just as hard on magic mushrooms as I was.
I was getting chilly. The fire beckoned.
So I said goodby to the trees and re-joined by bros for our till-dawn revelry.
And that, my friend, was my first mushroom trip. Back when I was just 18 years old and still living in Northern California.
I’ve done ‘shrooms a handful of times since then, over the years.
I highly recommend them.
Well, let me explain…
What Are Magic Mushrooms?
If you don’t already know, magic mushrooms are a naturally-growing psychedelic fungus. Their main active ingredient is a hallucinogenic compound called psilocybin.
Mushrooms are similar to psychedelics like Peyote, DMT, and Ayahuasca. But since mushrooms are the mildest of the bunch, they’re best for first-timer psychedelic users.
Who Should Try ‘Shrooms?
You should try them.
Yes, every person on this planet should take mushrooms at least once in their lives!
Are you a straight-edge person who’s never done drugs before? Or someone who’s experimented, but never thought of doing mushrooms?
Psilocybin Re-wires Your Brain
Evidence shows that psilocybin can literally re-wire our brains. Basically, the drug creates new neural pathways inside your head.
Sure, you could do the same without drugs. But that takes a long time…
With psilocybin, it happens faster.
What Do Mushrooms Feel Like?
Here’s what to expect on your first mushroom trip:
Be prepared to think deep while on mushrooms. Deeper than you’ve ever thought before.
This drug will help you delve way down into your psyche. So they’re a good way to thoroughly explore your mind, exorcise your demons, and heal past trauma.
Yes, mushrooms will help you understand yourself better.
And that’s vital to getting the most out of life.
You’ll experience a burst of creativity while you’re actually on mushrooms, of course. For example, look what happens when people make art on mushrooms!
But even after your trip is over? You might find that you’ve ‘leveled-up’ creatively.
And that’s a big benefit for artists, musicians, writers, or anyone who uses their brain regularly for creative work.
They’ll Bring You Closer To God
Are you religious or spiritual?
‘Shrooms will bring you closer to God.
Simply put, they’ll help you hear Him better.
And even if you’re not a Believer? ‘Shrooms will open your eyes to new possibilities. They’ll show you that there’s more to our Universe than we can possibly fathom.
Want to have what will (likely) be the best sex of your life?
Bang your girl while you’re tripping on ‘shrooms. If you’re in love, it’ll feel like your souls are melting together!
Of course both of you must be tripping for this to happen.
Mushrooms help you see things more clearly. Even after using them, you’ll connect dots better. You’ll see more patterns, make more connections. And that’s helpful for deep, long-term, serious thinking.
Be careful, though.
Because ‘shrooms make you realize your insignificance in the Grand Plan. But they’ll also help show you YOUR place in the Void. Scary but liberating.
Because that understanding leads to a better mindset and more holistic world-view.
Are There Any Downsides?
Yes, there are downsides to using them:
Mushrooms are illegal in many parts of the world.
This alone will keep many people from trying them.
Hard To Find
Mushrooms can be hard to find.
So it can take valuable time and effort to track them down.
With ‘shrooms, it’s hard to determine quality until well after they’re paid for.
And if they don’t work or they make someone sick?
They can’t be returned.
They Taste Terrible
Mushrooms taste vile.
But for maximum effect?
You’ve gotta choke down a few handfuls.
Vomiting Or Crying
Psilocybin can have an intense ‘expelling’ effect.
Meaning, a lot of people will either vomit or cry during their mushroom trips. Sometimes both.
Lose Of Motor Skills
Mushrooms and responsibility don’t mix!
They totally destroy the ability to do any kind of complex task for at least 12-18 hours (depending on dose). Never drive, fly, shoot guns, or operate machinery when using them.
So try magic mushrooms!
At least once in your life…
Because the downsides are mild and temporary.
But the benefits are huge and long-lasting.
Have you ever tried psychedelics? What was it like?
